I was out on our deck in the evening a couple of nights ago…the lake was still, there was no breeze, and there were no geese, turtles or muskrats swimming across the lake to disturb the water, so it made a beautiful mirror. The colors are coming out on the trees, in fact in the days since taking this picture, they are even more brilliant. But this is the beginning of sunset, the sun sets behind a hill on the front side of our house, and the reflection looks beautiful on the hill across the lake in back…of course, a picture can only capture so much, but I hope it gives you a sense of fall at my home.
